The initiative works by providing the general public the opportunity to park and charge their car at one of the two charging stations located on the entrance level of Wilson Car park, The Spot, Randwick.

 

Plug in and charge up whilst you catch a movie at the Ritz, or as you grab a coffee or meet friends for lunch.

It is even better for those who have to park all day because they work in the local area. Those who charge their cars during working hours are storing solar energy to be used on homeward bound trips.

Brigidine College Randwick Information & Digital Media students will be in charge of setting the price point each day. The daily flat rate will be reduced depending how sunny the day is. This is designed to encourage and reward 'time shifting' behavior, i.e. rates will match the power of sun. 

The sunnier the day, the cheaper the rate.
